National Polytechnic University Institute, Cameroon
As a tourism expert and lecturer, I have identified the difficulty the tourism industry faces in Cameroon. We have the potentials and because we lack the knowledge and expertise there is very little done in the domain.
I will like to be part of the curriculum development for the education of tourism. We shall try to harmonize the modules and the training programs did so as to improve on knowledge on the development of tourism attractions and destinations.
Improve sites and develop a program for tourism in Africa at large.
We are a private professional university and we offer several programs through 8 major faculties or Schools. Amongst these schools is the school of Home Economics, Tourism and Hospitality which runs four programs and intends to add two more in 2019. The programs are
1. Travel and Tourism
2. Hospitality Management
3. Bakery and Food Processing
4. Fashion, clothing, and Design
I intend to be part of the education and training department of the African Tourism Board
