Mr Padima currently serves as President and CEO of Marangrang Power Solutions (Pty) Ltd., a solar energy company based in Johannesburg, South Africa www.marangrang.co.za
He has 14 years’ experience in Destination Marketing, having worked for South African Tourism Boards’ worldwide offices and the North West Parks and Tourism Board. He also has extensive experience in the retail and media industry acquired during his tenure working for Radio Bop as a Music Librarian and Part-Time DJ and Bop TV as a Presenter.
For 10 years (1994 – 2004) he gained International Marketing experience while he was based in the USA (Los Angeles and New York) and Australia (Sydney) leveraging extensive Leisure and Business Tourism relationships with travel, tourism marketing and publicity agencies on behalf of the South African government.
Mr Padima is also CEO and Director of CAI, an arts school in development that will bring much needed resources and development input into the business side of the media industry in South Africa. The aim is to develop entrepreneurial artists who will change the world.
Mr Padima’ s experience also extends to the following areas:
- Media Relations and Management
- Alternative renewable energy and power
Mr Padima has the following qualifications: B.S Marketing, Contemporary Marketing Certificate and Certificate in Internet Business and Marketing from California State University, Long Beach and Dominguez Hills.
